Electric Plus, the Bacău-based company behind the „Barrier” brand, celebrates a significant milestone today, November 18, marking 10 years since the opening of its first franchise. The inaugural franchise was launched by entrepreneur Florin Chitic through his company FLOSIM, based in Bacău.
A Growing Network of Franchises
Over the past decade, Barrier has expanded its presence through dozens of franchises and branded showrooms in multiple locations across Romania and internationally in countries like Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, and Belgium.

Founded in 1995, Barrier Romania has steadily grown into a leading brand, with a significant portion of its production destined for export markets. The company reached a new pinnacle early last year with the opening of Barrier City, the largest PVC/aluminum joinery showroom in Southeast Europe.
As Barrier marks this decade of franchising achievements, it sets its sights on further growth and innovation, continuing to build on its legacy of quality and customer trust.
