This December, Aerostar Bacău celebrates 20 years of continuous growth in its Civil Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) business line, highlighting consistent progress, community involvement, and remarkable achievements. Over this journey, Aerostar has steadily expanded its team and capabilities, now operating three hangars dedicated to civil aircraft maintenance and employing a total of 1,850 people.
Aerostar is an EASA Part 145-approved organization for commercial aircraft maintenance, with a wide range of certifications from various civil aviation authorities, including the FAA. It is an independent service provider for Airbus A320ceo/neo and Boeing 737 families, including the Boeing 737 MAX.
In 20 years of MRO activities for commercial aircraft, the company has continuously enhanced its capabilities. It now operates two facilities, in Bacău and Iași, with the capacity to service up to ten aircraft simultaneously.
During this period, Aerostar has solidified its position as the leading independent provider of maintenance services for commercial aircraft in the region. Over two decades of professional excellence, the company has successfully released 1,200 aircraft back into service.
