The industrial group Chimcomplex Borzești received the „Excellence Award for 70 Years of Activity” at the 2024 Bursa Newspaper Gala. The event celebrated the achievements of top-performing companies in the Romanian economy, successful managers, and key figures in the financial sector over the past year. Chimcomplex marked its 70th anniversary since its establishment, originally named „Borzești Chemical Plant.”
The award was presented to businessman Ștefan Vuza, President of Chimcomplex. „Our joy today,” said the president, „is the ‘Excellence Award for 70 Years of Activity Chimcomplex Borzești’ at the 2024 Bursa Newspaper Gala. This distinction is received for the remarkable projects we have accomplished and for the dedicated people who put their heart into building a better present and future every day.

The event brought together approximately 250 people from all areas of economic decision-making, including academic figures, high-level political personalities (presidential representatives, government members, politicians, ambassadors), businesspeople, bankers, and capital market investors. The gala is a longstanding tradition in the financial culture, aimed at strengthening and promoting economic excellence.
